It all started one day a few years back…

I had broken my favorite hemp necklace that I had worn for years and set out to replace it. After searching every store in the area without any luck, I decided that I would make a new one myself.

I went to a local bead store, purchased some cool beads, a roll of hemp and a how-to book.

Well, the result was a pretty cool necklace. Having a creative background in graphic design, I proceeded to experiment, adding my own flourishes to the necklaces and bracelets I created for my wife, son and daughter. Before I knew it, I was getting special order requests from friends and classmates.

From then on, I was hooked. I started browsing the internet and bead stores in the area – always looking for neat stuff and thinking of new things to create.

Way back when, I started my career working with metals(welding, fabricating) so  branching into metalsmithing was the natural progression in my jewelry making journey. My focus is now on working with copper, brass and silver, married in unexpected ways with beautiful semi-precious stones, leathers and fibres.  But I still find time for hemp.

I am always learning new things and hope to do so for years to come. I have definitely developed a love for creating original jewelry.
